Product Design

Unlike other teams, we do not have a separate group of product designers. This means I take a feature all the way from requirements, to design, to implementation.

I am responsible for creating UI mockups and wireframes for each feature I lead. I am also in charge of thinking about the users' experience as a whole with the feature and using that perspective to create the best design possible.

Features

Led the design of a new Device Info screen using C#, XAML, and MAUI. This screen displays pertinent device information in an easy-to-access location within the application for users.

During the course of this process, I led many design discussions with my team, management, and customers. I collaborated with the customer that requested the feature on the UI/UX design of the feature and maintained accurate documentation of my design and the decision making process.

Android 12+ Splash Screen

Led the design of a new splash screen for Android devices operating on Android 12 and above using XML, C#, and MAUI.

During the course of this process, I led many design discussions with my team and management, collaborated with team members, and maintained accurate documentation of my design and the decision making process.

Accurate Serial Number

Led the design of a new feature allowing for the ability to pull the accurate serial number for Android devices working on Android versions 10 and above using device specific Software Developement Kits (SDKs), C#, and Python. This feature is optional within the application and can be enabled by the customer.
